β¨ Eating Healthy is Good for Your Heartβ¨
Β
Shocking, right? π
Β
The great thing is that the science is solid on this one.
Β
The Harvard School of Public Health just released a report that analyzed the dietary patterns of more than 200,000 Americans over the course of 32 years.Β
Β
The results were clear.
Β
People who followed a healthy dietβwhether it was similar to a Mediterranean diet, Plant-Based diet, or Healthy Eating Indexβexperienced less heart disease.
Β
As a general rule, here were the eating patterns that helped:
Β
π More fruits and vegetables
π More nuts, beans, and whole grains
π Less processed meat
π Less soda and sweetened beverages
Β
Sounds reasonable, right?
