FunCtional Nutrition

Functional nutrition is a practice that understands that wellness is more than the absence of disease; rather, it is a state of ease and optimal functioning. It is the goal of a functional nutritionist to help you reach that state.

Feeling Your Best

Amy Booth
Master Nutritional Therapist
Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

Welcome! You’ve found a functional, clinical nutrition practice committed to your health and well-being. All kinds of conditions lead people to take a closer look at what they’re eating. Food and its digestion are foundational to your well-being. They keep your immune system strong, your energy balanced, your mind sharp and your weight in check. Nutrition affects your mental outlook and your ability to handle stress and anxiety. Functional foods help to balance your hormones. If you have food sensitivities, chronic IBS or an autoimmune condition like celiac disease, proper nutrition is paramount in easing or eliminating your pain and discomfort.

I approach full body, digestive and immune system health from a holistic perspective, because everything inside of our bodies is connected. My knowledge is rooted in the science of good, clean nutrition and its relationship to feeling your best. Jumping from one food craze to the next is rarely effective. Conflicting advice from too many sources leads to confusion and giving up. I’ve been where you are. I can help.

Kind Words From Clients

I have been working with Amy for awhile now to help support and heal from an autoimmune and asthma. She takes the time to answer all of the many questions I have and gives me great suggestions to increase the right kinds of foods that give my body what it needs. She has taught me how sugar and processed foods negatively impact my body and health, and how little changes in my diet eventually make big changes in my health. I have a lot of food allergies and she has helped me maneuver around them and still come up with a healthy, nutritious, and delicious food plan. Amy is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants to improve their health and their life!
